Pernilla August is one of the most important Swedish actresses and has been awarded the Palm for the Best Actress in the film The Best intentions (Den Goda Viljan)(1992) by Ingmar Bergman. Her feature length director's debut Beyond (Svinalangorna)(2010) was awarded Best Director award in the Swedish Guldbagge.
