In the 1960s Helsinki a legendary Finnish boxer Olli Mäki (Jarkko Lahti) is waiting for an historic fight with American Davey Moore. Olli’s manager (Eero Milonoff) promises the press a spectacle never seen in Finland. Olli gives in to pressure. Juho Kuosmanen is a Finnish director, screenwriter and actor. In 2010 his graduation film The Painting Sellers won the first prize of Cannes Film Festival foundation Cinéfondation created to support the next generation of international filmmakers. His 2016 feature debut The Happiest Day in the Life of Olli Mäki won the main award in the Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival.
